Charlotte Holtrup

London School of Economics (work for Wize foundations and Charterpath)

Topic: How Cultural Values Drive Capital Allocation in Sustainable Finance

Charlotte Holtrup is pursuing Finance at the London School of Economics, building

on a strong foundation in economics and global affairs. She graduated Valedictorian

from ACS International School with the highest International Baccalaureate score in

her year. Charlotte has extensive leadership experience, including serving as Treasurer

of the National Honor Society, Chair of the ECOSOC Committee at MUN, and

founder of her school’s Economics Competition Society.

She currently serves as Funding and Partnerships Lead at Wize Foundation,

supporting aspiring finance students in achieving their career goals. She has also acted

as Team Lead for Speaker Support at PropTech Connect in London, coordinating

logistics and speaker engagement, and as Event Support Coordinator for the Islamic

Finance News UK Forum 2025, supporting operations at a leading ethical finance

event. Additionally, at Charterpath, a platform connecting financial professionals with

charities, Charlotte assists with financial management, grant applications, and the

non-profit jobs board.

Her research and interests focus on sustainable investment, ESG, impact investing,

and the role of AI in financial markets. As a keynote speaker, Charlotte explores how

cultural values shape capital allocation in sustainable finance, examining how trust,

time orientation, and social norms influence investor behaviour and the adoption of

long-term sustainable projects.
